Divide and rule 2.0 - By Sneha Gupta
The Kashmir
Files
The movie is
all about discrimination on the basis of caste, inhumanity, grief, anger,
revenge, cruelty, fear. The movie shows a lot of horrible scenes where people
are slaughtered in front of their loved ones and how brutally they are murdered
to death. The movie tries to show how wrong the Muslim did but the people here
forgot that there was not only one religion behind it. If Muslims killed why didn’t Hindu came forward and saved their
brothers. Its is wrong to do the crime but to be silent about it is also
equally wrong. People here were victims of dirty politics played in the name of
religion.
Oh my God!
The movie starts with an atheist, one who doesn’t believe in God. He directly questions God and asks him to repay for his losses. The movie questions the blind faith of the people and not logically thinking about it. The movie also speaks about Karma, whatever deeds you perform, you’ll face its outcome in this life only, there’s nothing before and after that.
Pk
The movie is
all about questioning one thing that no one has questioned before. His innocent
questions and childlike curiosity leads to opening eyes of many. The movie
criticizes the godman. It is funny, feel-good and thought provoking. The movie
narrates a story about Jaggu falling in love with a Pakistani guy, and explains
further how the love story got tangled in the name of religions. He questions
everyone where is the stamps which differentiates each one of us from one
another. He questions that if god has not divided us then who are we to do so. It
is absolutely okay to follow your religious path, but it doesn’t gives you the
right to lower someone’s self-esteem.
